  • A key position within the organization reporting to the Discipline Director in the GEC with a dotted line to the Global Services Director for Environment Services.
  • Responsible for spearheading digital adoption and innovation in Environmental Services globally leveraging and connecting in-country teams and GEC teams.
  • Drives development and implementation of the digital tools for Site Evaluation & Restoration (SER), Sustainable Operations (SO), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and other environmental services globally through the GECs.
  • Serve as the central focal point for all digital development initiatives within Environmental Services liaising with the Tech team lead to ensure consistency of approach.
  • Oversee "development teams" focusing on Low Code automation, ensuring efficient workflow and optimized processes. Play a crucial part in harmonizing digital efforts across various Business Areas (BAs) and enhancing overall GEC engagement. Act as the GEC representative on the ES Digital Expert Group, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Identify and support recruitment efforts to acquire/develop expertise in software tools such as Leapfrog, EVS, GIS, Digital EHS, dashboards, data management, etc
  • Develop a Center of Excellence in the GEC for all standard ES digital tools.
  • Establishing and consolidating relationships with senior staff in regional offices in different countries, taking ownership of the delivery, and GEC\xe2\x80\x99s digital capabilities
  • Supports bids and proposals globally from a digital perspective
  • Support global projects as a technical expert in digital
  • Drive creativity and independent thinking within your team, including around new digital technologies
  • Manage the delivery of tasks in accordance with Arcadis Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.
  • Ensure that best practices of delivery are adopted, and are shared with all relevant teams.

You provide technical expertise to the project team and can anticipate and solve key technical blockers for the smooth functioning of the project.   • You foster innovation by contributing to knowledge-based programs to help in improving project outcomes.

  • You help mentor technical leads to constantly update yourself with current changes in the industry.
  • You give suitable solutions to be applied in the project, without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
  • You contribute to a range of assignments by identifying, reviewing, and selecting techniques, procedures, and methods to undertake tasks, ensuring the program of work is completed and project milestones are met.
  • You use your knowledge and experience of best practices to support the development of systems and processes.
  • You exercise sound holistic independent judgment and take responsibility and accountability for your performance and that of junior and senior team members, driving engagement of project teams.
  • You maintain strong working relationships with senior colleagues in the GECs and regional offices and understand the wider company perspective

  • Drive inputs to improve standard operating procedures, create manuals of good practices following safe design principles and organize and conduct training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • BE Tech/MTech in Environmental/Civil/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Post Graduate or MBA preferred
  • Ideally 13+ years of professional experience
  • Strong technical background in working with and/or developing Digital Tools
  • Proficient in global digital and technology trends related to the environmental sector
  • Understanding of Environment, Sustainability, and H&S business
  • Experience in managing staff/stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines.
  • Confident in building strong and lasting relationships at a regional and global level
  • A strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Flexible to adopt changes and challenges as per business requirements.
