About the Role: Able to plan and prioritize Mission-critical (what matters most, in one sentence): Bringing together hands-on technical leadership and people management, the Associate Team Lead (Pharma Solutions Content Squad) oversees an agile production team with high levels of collaboration, upfront knowledge sharing and continual improvement focus, to ensure efficient, value-focused delivery of Pharma Solutions content and maximize growth & development for all squad members. Role Responsibilities: Squad oversight & leadership: lead a self-contained, agile production squad that encompasses end-to-end knowledge, quality & process management for Pharma SolutionsHands-on-leadership: lead by example, actively engaging with all members of the squad on a daily basis to contribute domain and process knowledge, identify needs and opportunities and facilitate better outcomes. Agile Squad Management: foster a collaborative and agile working environment where team members (including the squad lead) actively communicate and collaborate with each other in daily work (regular production or new initiatives), breaking down silos and fostering a sense of collective ownership. Cross-functional collaboration ensures that everyone's expertise is leveraged effectively. Enabling knowledge sharing: facilitate a high degree of domain knowledge sharing in the regular and evolving production processes, to drive efficiency and product quality and support individual growth and progression. Guide the team to operate in ways that maximize opportunities for daily interaction and learning, especially between individuals at adjacent levels of experience and capability. Promote and encourage upfront knowledge sharing wherever possible (reducing reliance on after-the-fact checking). Continuous Improvement: create a culture and team dynamic that enable continuous learning and improvement, through regular shared reflection on processes and outcomes and seeking ways to optimize efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. Alignment to User & Business Value: ensure that people, process and resource use remain highly aligned to user and business value, while ensuring proportionality (not quality at excessive cost) and simplicity to aid focused decision making and efficiency People management: in conjunction with manager, other leads, and team members, set individual performance goals and targets, conduct quarterly and annual appraisals and monitor the overall performance of individuals and the squad. Mentorship and Coaching: provide guidance and mentorship to squad members at all skill levels, fostering professional growth and development. Quality Management: in conjunction with other Squad Leads, monitor and oversee the running of the internal Quality Management System and related processes, including data capture and reporting. Ensure continual improvement, strong alignment to user value and sustainability/efficiency. Conduct quality checks/content validation in the regular or evolving production processes as needed or delegate to team members. Workflow Management: liaise as needed with Workflow Manager, other Squad Leads and squad members to support timely and efficient management of workflow Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges and proactively develop mitigation strategies Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience: Ideally: 3-5 years experience in Pharma Solutions and
2 years at SME/Quality Team level; minimum: 3-5 years experience in Pharma Solutions (only for ADIS Insight colleagues)
Bachelors or higher degree in (Lifesciences)/ Pharmacy/Medicine
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills (personal, technical and/or people leadership) and ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Note: previous line-management experience of technical staff/teams is highly desirable, but is not essential, as long as person has proven technical & process knowledge plus evidence of strong interpersonal skills and other leadership ability in a technical environment
Strong understanding of drug development and clinical research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to effectively coach, influence and motivate individuals in order to achieve organizational outcomes and standard.
