About Business line/Function : The SRE/Observability team is in charge of adopting applications from non-NNT platform to NNT platform. The team is also in-charge of change collaborating with stakeholders (DEV/APS/App Owners) during the entire migration process and handing over the application to stakeholders after the successful migration of the application along with this providing monitoring to all application processes in Production Responsible of the relations with the development teams to ensure the good integration of the systems in the production platform and in the infrastructures, which includes architecture and design, capacity planning, application monitoring and performance & stability enhancements. Job Title: Support engineer Date: 19-07-2022 Department: CIB Production Enablement - Factories - Automation & Observability Location: CHENNAI Business Line / Function: Production Factories Reports to: (Direct) NA Grade: (if applicable) (Functional) Number of Direct Reports: NA Directorship / Registration: NA Position Purpose The person selected for this role will be responsible for helping to deploy, configure and Support ITRS Geneos in APAC for Windows and Linux servers as well as provide L2 support for Dynatrace. Candidate will join the ISPL Observability Team who are responsible for configuring and managing an ITRS Geneos & Dynatrace monitoring platforms. This person must possess strong system admin skills in Windows and/or Linux and ITRS Geneos, excellent organizational skills, have an eye for detail, good time management, excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, be able to prioritise multiple tasks as well as understand IT security processes and procedures. Candidate will be based in India as part of a dynamic project team and will report to the Mohit Mohan The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other local, regional and global IT teams. Key Responsibilities . Use System admin experience and work closely with the Global and Local Production team to deploy the Geneos design according to global and local standards. . Be party to and contribute to project meetings between IT teams and our Business Line Application Support teams for all project requirements. . Contribute to reports, assist with creating dashboards and provide KPI about the project or his/her managers and all project stakeholders. . Adhere to change management procedures, local regulations, DR/BCP/ICP requirements, meet Security standards and match all Global Corporate standards. . Diligently follow the BNPP operational permanent control framework and all of its rules and procedures. Specific Qualifications Required . Minimum tertiary education level - Must be a degree holder in IT or equivalent subject. . At least 3 years\' experience preferably within a Banking / Financial Institution environment. . At least 1 years\' hands on experience using ITRS Geneos / Dynatrace in a Production environment . Background in Linux, Windows, MySQL and Scripting is mandatory. . ITIL V3 Foundation Qualification is mandatory . A Professional Qualifications in ITRS Geneos is a plus . Must be able to work to a tight deadline and be available for possible weekend work .
