This position is for the function SBO (Strategy & Business Operations), which spans across all of these businesses. SBO is front end for all non automated interactions with Navi customers and has two broad focus areas: Be the representative of the customers in Navi and representative of Navi to the Customers Build Industry first and best ever customer facing innovations across products SBO currently has four operating verticals with prime focus on achieving business objectives: Collections - Focus on making our lending portfolio profitable by ensuring we get most of money back we have lent using data science and human behavior principles. Customer Experience - Understanding users pain points and work with product and tech to better our offerings. About the Role: Lending is the biggest vertical for Navi. Credit (whom to lend money) and Collections (ensuring that we get our money back) are two main verticals in Lending Business. Unlike common perception, for us collection is all about understanding our customer really well which translates to solving for Data Human psychology Advance data science models coupled with innovations across people, process, metrics and systems is our approach to solve collection. The collections at Navi has 3 parts Digital Collections - using digital nudges like SMS, whatsapp, auto calls for easy customers. Tele Collections - Human calling to collect from customers of medium difficulty level. Field collections - Collecting from hard customers by visiting customer addresses Solving Field collections is one of the main focus of Navi given we can bring the real differentiations with Industry. Under field collections, we operate under 2 models: Work with collections agency partners across the country Building our own team from scratch (In-house team) We have been working on some industry first initiatives to solve this important part of collections: System based automated allocations basis performance and availability Dedicated app indigenously developed for field agents Dedicated portal available for team leaders and above for monitoring Automated reports and RCA dashboards Given the criticality of the function, the collections leadership team at Navi comprises some of the brightest people around with best of colleges and institutions.
