Waste Warriors Society (WWS) is a non-profit organization catalyzing systemic change to solve the waste management crisis of the Indian Himalayan Region. Our work lies at the intersection of Climate Change, Biodiversity Habitat Conservation, and Informal livelihoods. With a team of 200+ Warriors spread across various locations nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, we strive to create effective waste management solutions across urban and rural landscapes, with a special focus on eco-sensitive and tourist areas. Position Brief

We're seeking a dynamic, cause-driven go-getter to join us in fueling our fundraising efforts! As our go-to for donor communication, event coordination, and keeping our database updated, you'll bring your attention to detail, knack for storytelling, and team spirit to every task. If you're excited about connecting with others and making a real impact, we'd love to have you on board! Responsibilities

• Scout for fresh partnerships and brainstorm creative ideas to connect with potential collaborators. Whether it's digging into new leads or brainstorming creative pitches, you're on it!
• Craft proposals and decks that make our work shine and help partners see the magic of our mission.
• Engage with existing partners like old friends--because they are! Keep everyone updated, appreciated, and excited about our shared goals
• Keep our donor database spotless and track leads so everyone's in the loop with current and future supporters
• Stay in the know about trends and opportunities in the field.
• Gather and organize all the necessary bits from Finance, Projects, and HR teams for donor requirements and due diligence.
• Craft, review, and deliver top-notch reports to keep our donors updated--on time, every time!
• Arrange impactful events and site visits with our partners
• Work with the team to roll out activities and arrange impactful site visits for our partners

An Ideal Candidate should have:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (such as Business, Nonprofit Management, or Communications)
• Genuine interest in working in the social sector and have a passion for climate action and community building.
• Previous experience in fundraising, development, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Design and execute engagement campaigns that resonate with our donors, volunteers, and supporters.
• Great people skills-- to initiate and hold conversations.
• Proficiency in donor database management and fundraising software
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage with diverse audiences.
• Eager to learn, open to feedback, and flexible in approach.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and respect calendars and schedules.
• Skilled in CRM, G-Suite, Excel, and Canva basics.
• Grant & Proposal Writing (Basic to Intermediate Knowledge)
• Skilled at outreach and engagement on social media platforms (LinkedIn/Instagram)
• Troubleshoot issues and tackle challenges creatively.
