Team Overview: Dun & Bradstreet is looking for a Java Developer responsible for the architecture, development and support of D&B applications & solutions. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xa5 Design and develop optimized code compliant to specification and technology standards \xc2\xa5 Discuss and contribute towards architectural and design decisions with the team \xc2\xa5 Recommend solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages \xc2\xa5 Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) of complex issues ranging from hardware, operating system, application, network, and information security platforms while working closely with various infrastructure teams and business users to quickly arrive at creative, tactical and long-term solutions. \xc2\xa5 Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and fall within timelines and acceptance criteria \xc2\xa5 Participate in testing of prototypes & validate test procedures to ensure that they are applicable to the design \xc2\xa5 Validate technology platform to be used for a project and ensure common acceptance Requirements: \xc2\xa5 Bachelor\xc3\x95s Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent degree \xc2\xa5 Overall 5+ years of experience in varied technology listed below. \xc2\xa5 2+ years of work developing cloud-based applications interacting with APIs, databases and storage. Specifically AWS EC2, S3, Kinesis Data Streams, Lambda, ElasticBeanStalk, Cloundfront & CloudWatch. \xc2\xa5 Java/J2EE skillset \xc2\xa5 2-3 years of experience developing J2EE applications using Spring framework. Experience in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud would be preferable. Experience in JBoss \xc2\xa5 Experience in XSL, FTL, IBM MQ. \xc2\xa5 Good experience in SQL. Oracle 12c. \xc2\xa5 Experience with creating and consuming REST APIs \xc2\xa5 Experience in Git repository management, CI/CD tools like Jenkins. \xc2\xa5 Strong Knowledge of standard log management systems such as Logstash. \xc2\xa5 Exposure to Terraforms will be of added advantage. \xc2\xa5 Experience with formal project methodology framework (SDLC) or Agile. Preferably Scrum. Ability to work with SONAR reports. \xc2\xa5 Experience in testing tools/frameworks like Cucumber, BDD Framework. \xc2\xa5 Basic understanding of High Availability, Systems Design, Architecture, Cloud Technologies, Databases, Open Source and Web technologies. \xc2\xa5 Ability to work well in a team/collaborative environment \xc2\xa5 Strong verbal and written communication skills
