Boeing India Software Engineering team is currently looking for one Associate Software Engineer - DevOps to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. As a DevOps Engineer , you will be part of the Application Solutions team, which develops software applications and Digital products that create direct value to its customers. We provide re-vamped work environments focused on delivering data-driven solutions at a rapidly increased pace over traditional development. Position Responsibilities:

• Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
• Setting up tools and required infrastructure
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Encouraging and building automated processes
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Mentoring and guiding the team members
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
• Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Certification in Azure cloud
• Solid knowledge of DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, configuration management, and automated testing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployments, and performance.Kub
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Pre-requisite skills required for a DevOps Engineer role include
• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
• Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, MongoDB
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Familiarity of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Experience working in developing services (sync and async) using Microservices Architecture and Design patterns.
• Experience working in developing and deploying in Azure Cloud using its PaaS services.
• Experience working with Azure functions.
• Experience in working in SQL Databases with ability to model and ability to write Stored Procedures - Postgres or MySQL or any other relational databases.
• Experience in working with any one of the NoSQL Databases - Preferably Azure Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization technology to package and deploy server components. Ability to create Docker images, manage containers, and configure Docker networking and storage. Kubernetes: Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration platform for containerized applications. Understanding of deploying server as Kubernetes pods, managing deployments, and leveraging Kubernetes features like scaling, load balancing, and resource allocation. creating HELM artifacts- Preferably using Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Proficiency on ARM templates, HDInsight/DataBricks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation - Git, Maven and Shell scripting.
+ Ability to rapidly learn and understand software from source code.
+ Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
+ Extensive experience in collaborating within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/ Story creation as well as solution design and architecture.
+ Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to earn trust, persuade, motivate and mentor other team members. To be effective, this person must earn the respect of the Scrum teams, Technical Architect, and Release Train Manager, Business teams, customers and all other different stakeholders.
