Role title: Development Manager Service Assurance - ( Fault and Performance) Application Development Colt Level: S2 Function: TSO Reports to: Head of Assurance and Inventory - Assurance & Inventory Location: India Role purpose Colt TSO Assurance & Inventory Application development team is looking for a Fault and Performance Development Manager with passion and proven track record to lead a team of dynamic developers in the Telco space. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team that analyses, designs, develops, Enterprise fault and performance monitoring applications deployed in Colt . You will be responsible for the development of the monitoring solutions to support the Colt product Catalogue and the development should align with the Colt strategy. As part of this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, system architects, BA\'s, program managers and other development teams to deliver fault and performance enhancement projects while maintaining a high standard in applications development in both technical and functional levels. Key accountabilities Lead and participate in all phases of application development lifecycle Ensure compliance to all SDLS standards and management Maintain excellent technical knowledge to provide directions to the development team and process Ability to provide innovative technical analysis and suggestions on the application architecture design improvements using state-of-the-art technologies Resolve complex software engineering issues Closely work with enterprise architects to identify the gaps in architecture, processes, and applications at the initial stage of the development lifecycle and find ways to mitigate them Engage in scope and solutions discussions with the key stakeholders Ensure delivery of high quality code according to schedule Ensure data integrity and security for all solutions delivered in line with Colt standards Contribute, evaluate and assess high level and low level design documentation Cross functional and department engagement to agree a common solution collaboratively Resource management and tracking ofbudgets based on projects Hiring new skills building, and training development resource Other accountabilities (optional) Provide optimal technical solution to all business requirements Deep knowledge of opensource tools Initiate EOL programs to support the business Hands on experience in developing web applications, maintain databases and Cloud Excellent communication skills both oral and written Mentoring development teams Analyze industry trends and design applications inn ways to improve client services. Hire, train and supervise efficient working of staff Maintain and share knowledge within the team Role specific requirements Skills & Experience G ood knowledge p rogramming l anguages Java/rest/SOAP/ / React etc Excellent Scripting Knowledge in - Linux and Unix Shell Scripting, PL/SQL.
