POSITION PURPOSE
--------------------
Security Transfer works on Client request to Transfer Securities from one account to another. It Could be internal, Inter Book or External Transfer. Team also collects periodic and account closure fees for the team.
i) Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
ii) Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
iii)Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
iv)Contribute to the optimal quality customer service in securities processing
Responsibilities
• Co-ordinate with counterparty on settlement of trades for Equities and Mutual Funds.
• Process instructions to various custodians for settlement.
• Liaise with Front Office / dealers on necessary documentation for the processing of trade settlement.
• Update clients' positions in system.
• Follow up and monitor the progress of late and failed trades.
• Update status of any failed trade/transfers by the stipulated settlement date.
• Compute, advise and debit clients' account on relevant trade charges. Update waiver file if fees are waived.
• Handle queries on trade processing from Front Office.
• Ensure procedures and control measures are strictly adhered to.
• Reconciliation of daily documents received from LBS with their Control Checklist.
• Preparation of management report i.e. quarterly failed trade report.
• Participate in BCP documentation / drills and be updated on BCP drills/activation
• Sorting of mails.
TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

• Essential knowledge and experience of Settlement and Swift processing
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should possess strong fundamental and technical skills, awareness of operational risk.
