•Inviting applications for the role of an Associate - Remote Blade Support Engineer.•

•The ideal candidate will have an excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, the role requires understanding of engineering drawings, Blade parts, technical analysis including prior knowledge of analyzing mechanical blade damages. Previous experience in Inspecting, diagnosing, adjust, or repair of offshore wind turbines will be added advantage. The applicant should be willing to remotely work 24/7 on heavy industrial machines across the globe which are generating millions of records.•

•Responsibilities•

•1. Case Management•

•o Monitor the product support queue in ServiceNow and claim any unassigned cases in the queue•

•o To be supportive for different regions around the globe accordingly based on levels of incident management.•

•o Understand the need (s) of the case creator from a technical and admiration standpoint where the requestor needs assistance / information.•

•o Prepare the technical documentation to provide resolution / information to the requestor and resolve the case in ServiceNow•

•o Triage the case to concerned technical team if case requires additional inputs from other support team•

•o Manage the overall case Touch Time, Turn Around Time and closure of the case that is assigned.•



•Type of case to be managed•



• •End of warranty replacement / repair of Blades by identifying the issues raised by customer•
• •Reviewing the Blade damage images to analyze the wear and tear on the component•
• •Examine the Blade condition to find out if Repair or Replacement is required•
• •Cross verify the blade related details by using required tools•
• •Provide the standard disposition based on the different levels of Impairment•
• •Identifying the different types of detriment in the Blades and dispositioning the case accordingly•
• •Deliver the support for individual regions during distinct requirements•





•Qualifications•

•Minimum qualifications•

• •B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering•
• •B.E / B.Tech - Aeronautical Engineering•
• •Proven experience with Wind turbine Blades for years•
• •Ability on Decision making based on the respective condition•
• •Experience working with other predictive maintenance technologies and practices related to wind turbines•
•Preferred qualifications•

• •Strong communication skills; skilled at cross-functional and cross-organizational communication•
• •Knowledge about Wind Turbine Blades•
• •Attention to detail and good articulation skills.•
• •Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization•
