Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

POSITION TITLE (ENGLISH): Associate QA Test Engineer

REPORTING TO: Manager

REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Eurofins is currently accelerating the deployment of standard processes across its Laboratories. Eurofins has initiated several group projects. One of them is the eLIMS-Milk (Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System), consisting in selecting existing eLIMS modules and aggregating them into a comprehensive and integrated suite of tools and applications to support in a standard way testing business in our laboratories worldwide.

The main objective of this position is to ensure the role of \'Associate QA Test engineer\' for eLIMS-Milk application

The candidate is expected to:

• Understand the requirements; transform those in to test cases

• Promote high quality engineering of the target solutions;

• SCRUM agile practices;

Job description:

Within eLIMS-Milk project organization, the candidate is expected to:

• Perform manual and automation testing of desktop based applications in a client-server environment.
• Adhere to the test strategies and test plans to ensure that product delivered is of high quality.
• Ownership of module/functionality, plan & monitor the testing activities based on the Project plan.
• Perform Sanity, Regression, Functional and Non-Functional testing.
• Work collaboratively with all stake holders like Development, QA, Project Manager, BA and onsite teams.
• Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and issue deviation etc.
• Meet schedules and deadlines as per the project requirements.
• Responsible for status reporting and communicating with the Manager.
• Very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Technical Knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge in Test Management process.
• Experience in functional as well as performance Testing (Load and performance)
• Knowledge of working on any test automation tool will be good to have.
• Good DB, SQL knowledge.
• C# programming experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in TFS/MTM would be appreciated.
• Exposure to agile/scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree
