:The Position:We are searching for a smart QA engineer with a technical bend of mind. Someone who can own all aspects of QA comprehensively i.e own functional testing as well as apply scripting, test automation, and data skills to manage QA responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Someone who is able to align to teams goals and also has a passion about changing the way millions of people save energy. Youll work within the Engineering Team to test product features, APIs, CLI functions and apply test automation and other technical skills to deliver. Youll be a part of building a robust analytics platform that crunches massive amounts of data and leverages it to deliver a compelling user experience to users across our platforms.You will own all aspects of quality independently and be responsible for high quality deliverables. You will own the success of the product by working with our talented global design and engineering teams to get the features implemented.Target Candidates:You should:

• \xc2\xb7 Be excited to work with talented, committed people in a fast-paced
• \xc2\xb7 Use a data-driven approach and actively work on product & technology roadmap at strategy level and day-to-day tactical level.
• \xc2\xb7 Drive development of products across the entire lifecycle and partner with Product Marketing to grow market share.
• \xc2\xb7 Use a rigorous approach for product improvement and customer satisfaction.
• \xc2\xb7 Love developing great automation scripts as a seasoned product engineer.
• \xc2\xb7 Be ready, able, and willing to jump onto a call with a partner or customer to help solve problems.
• \xc2\xb7 Have a strong eye for detail and quality of code.

Required Skills:

• Scripting skills (Ruby / Python /Shell)
• Knowledge of test frameworks for large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of framework for cross browser testing.
• Excellent knowledge of Database concepts, Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with MySQL.
• Configuration management: SVN, Git.
• A natural communicator who can explain esoteric technical concepts in clear, plain English (both written and verbal)
• Excellent grasp of standard SDLC / Agile-Scrum development

The following experiences are not required, but you\'ll stand out from other applicants if you have any of the following, in our order of importance:

• Knowledge of REST API level testing would be a plus
• Knowledge of performance tools like Jmeter.
• Good to have Amazon Cloud experience
• Good to have basic knowledge of Capybara/ Cucumber
• Ability to work as Individual Contributor
