Job Summary


We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Auto IT Java and Selenium with a preference for those experienced in Advent Geneva. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and performance.
• Utilize Auto IT Java and Selenium to automate test processes and enhance testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Identify document and track software defects and inconsistencies ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to verify that software changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Provide detailed and accurate test reports highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies and tools to stay current with industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior team members sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards maintaining the highest level of quality assurance.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical skills in Auto IT Java and Selenium with hands-on experience in these technologies.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Show proficiency in creating and executing test plans test cases and test scripts.
• Have experience with defect tracking tools and test management software.
• Display effective communication and collaboration skills working well within a team environment.
• Experience in Advent Geneva is a plus providing valuable domain knowledge.
• Adapt to a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.
• Maintain a proactive and detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
