Job Opportunity: Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics

Ravishankar College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, invites applications from highly qualified candidates for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics .

Essential Qualifications (As per PCI norms):

• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a PCI-approved institution.
• A Master's degree in Pharmaceutics (M.Pharm) from a PCI-approved institution with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
• A Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Qualification in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC, like SLET/SET.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, with at least 5 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent in Pharmaceutics.

Note: Fresh Ph.D. candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Postdoctoral research experience in Pharmaceutics or related areas from a reputed institution/organization.
• Research publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals in Pharmaceutics.
• Experience in guiding research scholars and managing research projects.
• Participation in curriculum development and academic administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmaceutics and related subjects.
• Develop and update course materials, lecture notes, and instructional resources.
• Conduct research in Pharmaceutics and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Guide research scholars and supervise students for dissertation/project work.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental activities.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in Pharmaceutics and engage in professional growth.
• Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the institution.
