Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate Professor to join the Department of Computer Applications for the BCA program. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Applications or related discipline, and be NET (National Eligibility Test) qualified. The candidate should have substantial teaching experience and a passion for fostering academic excellence, research, and innovation in the field of computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in various BCA courses, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of computer applications, programming languages, software engineering, databases, and other related subjects.
• Prepare and implement course materials, assignments, and assessments in line with academic standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, supporting their academic and professional development.
• Contribute to the research activities of the department, including publishing research papers in reputable journals, attending conferences, and collaborating on research projects.
• Assist in the development and review of curricula and course structures to align with industry trends and academic advancements.
• Participate in departmental and institutional academic and administrative activities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Provide academic and career counseling to students.
• Engage in community outreach, industry collaborations, and student placement activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification :
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field from a recognized institution.
• NET (National Eligibility Test) qualified.
• Experience :
• Minimum 4 years and up to 20 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, particularly in Computer Applications, IT, or related disciplines.
• Experience in curriculum development, student assessment, and academic counseling.
• A proven track record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or conferences is preferred.
• Skills and Competencies :
• In-depth knowledge of computer science concepts, including programming, databases, algorithms, software engineering, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with current trends in the IT and computer science fields, and the ability to integrate this knowledge into teaching.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching tools, online learning platforms, and educational technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?32,400.29 - ?90,000.00 per month
