Role: Associate Product Owner

Essential Job Functions:

Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions and behaviors.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting / Finance, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years of exp supporting Product owner or agile management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Technical Abilities:

Support the Product Owner in defining the forward vision and align product roadmap for the applications to strategic goals for the organizational relationship management

Support prioritizing process and application improvement activities through creating future balancing business, user and client needs, with resourcing and broader IT program of work

Support articulation of business future needs by maintaining current journey maps and advocacy with customer groups

Support Product Owner in liaising and being the ambassador for the application(s) for both with internal and external audiences, including supporting creation of features and change messaging for end users prior to each release

Support evaluation of product performance and return on investment

Commitment to continual research and evaluation of market developments in innovation, new technology and trends in the (business and technology) industry

Build and maintain a strong relationship with product owners and associate product owners or program managers across the region and enterprise

An ability to confidently initiate and sustain communications with a range of parties within the Enterprise.

Proven experience in developing and implementing strategy.

Overall understanding of technologies used within the application (or commitment to continual learning).

Management of stakeholder expectations.

Beneficial

• Understanding of Information Technology agile product lifecycle methodology.

• Experience with definition of minimum viable features.

Impact and Leadership:

Understand impediments to team progress and work with Product Owner and Scrum Master to remove them

Work with product owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed and defined for the next sprint

Supports in executing the backlog partnering with the engineering team

Supervision, Experience, and Development

Performs under general guidance and supervision. Typically receives general instructions on routine work and may be paired with a peer/mentor.

Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment. Position may occasionally require entering a manufacturing or testing environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
