Each day, you will facilitate completion of testing activities efficiently, timely, cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback for the design process from the testing perspective. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business Process Industry in Bangalore India . Understanding new features from user stories, identifying potential customer use cases using domain expertise, and developing test cases for the Energy Management Systems (EMS) Application, which is an HTML5-based web application. Conducting manual functional testing of new features in demonstration environments. Maintaining test results in Azure DevOps Test Plans, reporting bugs, and creating and maintaining TFS/Azure DevOps dashboards for key metrics. Attending local and global scrum meetings to report test observations and current developments. Preparing and maintaining the test environment, including prerequisites and application installation/upgrades. Creating simple test tools for unit functionality testing using command line batch files, Powershell or Python scripting.Qualifications for the role

• 10+ years of experience in test planning and execution of desktop and web applications.
• Experience in test environment preparation: Windows configuration, software installations, etc.
• Some experience with command line tools scripting, such as batch files, PowerShell or Python scripting.
• 5+ years of experience in the industrial automation domain.
• Working knowledge of public interfaces such as ODBC/SQL, OPC UA, and OPC Classic.
• Working knowledge of time series historians.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for test management and release definitions.
• Experience working with virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V/Azure).
