Job Title: Associate Principal AI ScientistCareer Level - DIntroduction to Role:We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Associate Director to join our Biopharmaceuticals R&D team. This role involves developing and applying pharmacokinetic-dynamic models to translate safety findings from nonclinical species to humans. You will work closely with Safety Scientists or Clinical Pharmacologists, and the scope of your work may extend to efficacy data analysis. You will also apply available platform disease models (Quantitative Systems Pharmacology/Toxicology Models) to translate in vitro and in vivo data for clinical study decisions.Accountabilities:As an Associate Director, you will develop and apply mathematical models to translate safety findings from nonclinical species to humans. You will create, expand, or refine mathematical models to address drug discovery and development questions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, formatting, and analyzing available data for modeling purposes, engaging with project teams, presenting modeling work, staying up-to-date with emerging literature and techniques in modeling and simulation sciences, supporting Safety Scientists and Clinical Pharmacologists with Health Authority queries, and preparing submission documentation related to PKPD analyses for Health Authorities.Essential Skills/Experience:Education Required: Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, pharmacometrics, or a related field.Overall 10 years of experiecne and More than 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in data formatting, data analysis post-degree and report writing.Knowledge in physiology, pathology, and/or pharmacology.Capability of parameter estimation and simulation with various what-if scenarios.Effective time management and organizational skills.Self-directed, independent and highly-motivated researcher who excels in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with scientists in other subject areas with a positive and collaborative attitude.N/AWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
