Reporting to: Lead/ Coach, Careers for Alumni


The Associate, Operations, and Communications will support the Careers for Alumni team in building partnerships with partners, communicating the impact of our Alumni and our programs through compelling reports and outreach campaigns, and achieving operational excellence in their day-to-day work.


We are seeking a proven leader who possesses exceptional communication skills, a collaborative and proactive approach to working in teams, and a deep personal belief in Teach For India's vision and mission.


#### Team Overview

Every year, hundreds of members from the Teach For India community graduate and transition into our Alumni movement ready to take on roles across the Education and Development sector. Towards our ten-year vision, the Careers team at Teach For India will create more opportunities for our 10000 Alumni leaders to embark on and sustain career journeys that enable them to work towards educational equity while also fulfilling their personal aspirations. They will work closely with regions to ensure regional vision alignment, aid cross-functional collaboration, and drive outcomes for the Regional Roadmap.


#### Responsibilities

As the Associate, Operations, and Communications, you will:

• Independently design and conduct outreach within our Alumni community for various programsrun by the Careers Team.
• Support Lead, Alumni Careers to execute current and new initiatives for Alumni.
• Conduct surveys, and implement M&E frameworks along with the team lead to capture impact.
• Plan and execute creative campaigns, podcasts, newsletters, reports, microsites, etc. to make our initiatives and impact visible.
• Write and curate Alumni impact stories for social media, newsletters, and events.
• Research and identify different partnerships to serve our Alumni's career needs.

As an Associate at Teach For India, you will:

• Contribute to the team goals and priorities beyond individual goals and priorities.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Teach For India brand and an advocate for our work and for educational equity in our country through both internal and external communication after committing time in our classrooms to understand our work more deeply.
• Support with key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, Movement Building.

#### Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations

• Graduate in any field with 1-3 years of professional experience.
• Experience of having planned and executed complex projects with multiple priorities in a college or work setting.
• Strong research capabilities and ability to synthesize research and insights well in written reports or presentations.
• Experience of having collaborated effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
• Excellent working knowledge of Canva, and/or other design software, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
