Associate, Marketing Operations - 1 position
Position Summary
This position will be within the Grant Thornton Marketing Organization on the Marketing Operations team, with the purpose of supporting the firm's invoicing process via the firm's procurement tool as well as supporting the various Marketing Operations reporting for the leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for end-to-end invoicing process in procurement tool to support compliance with firm policies as well as provide support with various Marketing Operations reports and presentations for executive level stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Learn and leverage procurement tool cloud-based software in order to:
o Help set-up new suppliers as needed and work with Marketing teammates to obtain required documentation for set-up
o Create Purchase Requisitions when applicable to comply with firm invoicing policies
o Communicate need to elevate asks for Purchase Requisitions
o Include watchers/additional approvers as needed on Purchase Requisitions
o Manage all Marketing invoices and monitor progress of submitted invoices on a weekly basis
o Review system reports and reconcile against submitted invoices
o Create ad-hoc reports as needed
• Prepare various Marketing Operations reports from raw data and maintain repository accessible to stakeholders
• Use data analytics tools and Excel to design a data repository/database for consolidating marketing data and reporting
• Participate in other projects as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
Successful candidate will have the ability to learn a new cloud-based, source-to-pay (P2P) software to support Marketing's end-to-end invoicing process as well as produce and provide actionable insights and recommendations for Marketing Operations report enhancement.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience with data analytics, reporting, and presentations
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with preferred MS Power BI experience
• Strong executive level writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented
