Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre is currently looking for Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineering team in Bangalore, India. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a part of a global team working on providing ME solutions to a wide range of Boeing products and services across the world. A successful candidate will be part of Manufacturing Engineering team responsible for implementing the configuration changes and preparation of build plans for commercial aircrafts. The role would primarily focus on understanding the disposition of Non-Conformances (NC) and converting them into installation plan and work instructions. This position is based in Bangalore but will take part in the virtual reviews and coordination meetings with various Production Engineering groups based onsite. Position Responsibilities: . Support creation and modifications of installation plans and work instructions as per production plan and customer requirements . Support ordering of parts to achieve production plan . Coordinate with Project ME, Design and quality teams for timely Non-Conformance (NC) resolutions. . Assist in creation of repair schemes and associated work instructions as per NC dispositions. . Assist in burn down of production issue log and action tracker. . Support implementation of lean principles to minimize turnaround times for NC Management . Assist in technical Liaison and problem solving across teams to improve quality and drive process improvements. . Participate and manage relationships with all stakeholders and onsite team. . Able to work in shifts. This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity but if required the selected candidate has to relocate to Bangalore. This position is for shift based working. The selected candidate will be working in shifts. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): . Bachelor\'s Degree or higher is required. . 5+ years of work experience in production of aerospace parts/assemblies . Demonstrated experience with ME tools & PLM software Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): . Experience with Boeing products/Commercial aircraft platforms is highly desirable. . Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), CATIA, Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), and Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES). Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 to 8 years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience etc.).
