Job Description


Programme Implementation and Quality Manage all the projects being implemented in the Telangana region end-to-end from planning to execution. Understand the program implementation strategies deeply to then plan for execution and mitigation strategies, as needed. Be part of the planning process for the team to ensure an effective plan and budget is in place and it is adhered to. Design, coordinate and facilitate volunteering engagement activities across all donor projects. Ensure the monitoring data including case studies, photographs, videos of the implementation schools reaches relevant team members, Communications and Business Development team as needed. Have periodic touch points with the teams, both physically and virtually to ensure our deliverables are on track and quality of implementation is maintained. Work closely with the Sr. Program Manager on the budget spent to ensure we are on track with spending. Raise and track the necessary purchase/service/venue/other requests with the Finance team to ensure financial loops are closed. Be able to take decisions on mitigation strategies in case projects need a change in plan. Support the Sr. Program Manager in visualizing a State strategy and roadmap, participating in planning/strategy workshops, drafting new proposals/budgets for the region and more. Training, Content, Capacity Building and Reporting Be a Master Trainer in Teacher Capacity Building initiatives that are the core of our program strategies, ensuring a fruitful cascade. Support the Learning Experience team in Training and Content calls by providing the needed operational support and insight. Relationship Management - Stakeholders (Internal and External) Build relationships with the State, District, Block and School level government officials to facilitate smooth implementation of the Program, including project permissions/MoUs, liaising, conducting orientations, review meetings, monitoring visits etc Support the Program team in maintaining relationships with the State, District and Block education functionaries. Identify opportunities for children to participate in relevant problem solving competitions using the State/District networks. Ensure the participation of the Block and District officials in the school, district, state and organisation level events. Attend all donor orientation, review meetings and keep them up to date with the project progress. Ensure all donor communications from reports to engagement numbers and more are sent out on time as per the donor s requirements. Making sure the donor reports are beautifully written and presented with both quantitative and qualitative insights. Ensuring a clear line of communication with the donors and being effective in engaging them through our work. Ensure volunteer engagement happens successfully across all projects, as promised in the proposals. Ensure proper relationship management for our other relationships like MoU partnerships and more. Team Management Ensure the necessary Goal setting and appraisal process for the two Program Associates. Ensure the well being of the Associates through periodic catch ups and need-based conversations. Maintaining and supporting 5 Consultants, from operational support to invoice submissions to finance, who are part of various projects. Reporting Submit all the relevant monitoring reports on time. Ensure all the relevant data for the project is available well in time. Work together with ME focal point to track project progress based on the ME framework. Share quarterly reports with relevant Government officials and data for donor reporting. Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program. Ensure the data is analysed and fed into the planning and review meeting. Anchor the Level 3 reviews at a State level, ensuring the decks and the reviews happen in a smooth and productive manner. Be available for regular line management meetings and the appraisal processes.
