Develop comprehensive understanding of regulatory landscape in FMCG in Gujarat
Plant Establishment:
Lead the engagement with state and central government officials, specifically focusing on ministries and departments relevant to the establishment of the plant.
Handhold all necessary approvals and licenses required for the successful initiation and operation of the plant.
License and Approvals Management:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape pertaining to the FMCG industry in Gujarat, ensuring a smooth and timely acquisition of licenses and approvals.
Work closely with regulatory bodies to expedite the approval process.
Government Relations: (Policy Monitoring and Analysis, Risk Mitigation and Reputational Comms)
Build and nurture effective relationships with key stakeholders at local, state and central levels to ensure a supportive and conducive regulatory environment for our plant.
Advocate for the interests of Coca-Cola India and strategically position the company within the government framework.
Stay vigilant about changes in government policies and regulations that may impact the establishment and operation of the plant.
Conduct thorough analyses of policy changes and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate potential challenges.
Understand any PR risks and mitigate reputation risks for the plant. Manage risk media and engage with key media houses and journalists.
Ensure CSR, Sustainability activities and associated awards and recognitions for the plant.
Collaborate with local communities in Gujarat to address any concerns related to the establishment of the plant.
Implement community outreach programs to foster positive relationships and ensure the company\'s operations align with community expectations.

Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in government affairs, with a focus on project establishment and approvals.
In-depth knowledge of licenses and approvals protocols in Gujarat, specifically in the FMCG industry.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with government officials and external stakeholders. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
