We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Content Data Engineering team in Bangalore/Hyderabad. We are looking for someone who has excellent experience in Java with spring, REST services. It will be great if you have experience with AWS and Oracle as well. The current team size is 10+ consist of Dev, QA and scrum master. In CDE you will get opportunities to work with different master teams with all latest technologies.

About You \xe2\x80\x93 experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Software Design, or related fields education or 5+ years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 6 years of experience in software development using Java and spring framework
• At least 5 years of working experience on REST using spring boot.
• AWS microservices, SQS, Oracle, Maven/Gradle, GIT, Sonar and Junior

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Spring batch
• Active MQ, JBoss or Wildfly
• Spring cloud
• AWS Serverless technologies

What will you be doing in this role?

• Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of applications the best software solutions that effectively satisfy business functional and non-functional requirements
• Adhere to Clarivate/First to File coding standards for excellence and industry best practices regarding the development processes
• Follow Scrum methodologies and actively participate in work planning, estimations, or refinement sessions
• Maintain and optimize existing programs, working within a development team to develop additional functionality to existing systems
• Collaborate with team members and other teams (DevOps) and groups (Product Management) within Clarivate
• Provide production support
• Refactor, update, and extend existing code and frameworks to remain current and maintainable
• To take responsibility for identifying training and developmental needs for yourself on an on-going basis.

About the Team

CDE team is the core underlaying team which deals with applications and data that is pumped into the upstream applications. We also provide APIs for them to interact with down stream applications and data. In current tech team we have 5 developers, 2 interns, 3 QA, a scrum master and a project manager. We use Java 1.8 and Spring framework in AWS environment.

Hours of Work

40-hours per week, permanent full-time position, IST time zone.
