Skills, qualifications & knowledge
On the job current experience of:
Extensive hands on experience of specifying, designing and developing process enhancing
business intelligence solutions using SAP BW, SAP BPC and Oracle DB
Skills to include:
\xef\x82\xb7 Using full features of the Data Transfer Process (DTP), Transformations, Data Store Objects
(DSO).
\xef\x82\xb7 Able to Model and build Info cubes, Info objects, Info sets and Multi Providers.
Ability to write reports using BEx Query Designer and Analyser.
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong technical problem solving
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent communication skills
SAP BUSINESS PLANNING AND CONSOLIDATION:

• Setting up environment, configuring models and dimension, enabling seamless integration of

master data and hierarchies with underlying transaction systems

• Configuring Transformation and conversion files, data manager packages, package links for

extracting and performing task on data.

• Setting up the initial ownership structure and defining the rate input templates
• Drafting currency translation rules (both periodical & YTD), elimination and adjustment rules,

US elimination rules,carry-forward rules, account-based calculations rules

• Writing logic scripts, collaborating with ABAP team members on functional aspects for BADIs
• Designing EPM reports and input templates from consolidation and planning needs.

• Backup procedures
• Creation of queries, info areas, aggregation levels, key figures, characteristics, composite

providers, variables,reports and input templates using HANA Studio and BEX Query.

\xef\x82\xb7 Work with Business to analyse requirements, design and deliver BW / BPC based
solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Use tools to perform Data Transfer Process, Transformations and BEx Query Designer
and Analyser
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide support for data migration projects as and when required
\xef\x82\xb7 Understand the business data requirements and translate it into solution framework/
architecture
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage, plan, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate the development of code elements and review.
\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in all phases of project lifecycle Design, Development, System Testing, UAT
support, Deployment Support, Post Production Support
\xef\x82\xb7 Review and finalize the project scope and deliverables with Application Development
and Functional Support manager.
\xef\x82\xb7 Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure adherence to locally defined standards for all developed BW / BPC solutions
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide technical leadership on the use of tools to perform Data Transfer Process and
data profiling
