We\'re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate (Portfolio Analyst) to join our Mellon Investment Support team. This role is located in Pune, India - HYBRID. In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways: Act as an SME of equity/ fixed income index management workflows for the team. Perform and review workflows related to team\'s operations to support front office equity and fixed income indexing business. Lead and contribute to projects and ad hoc requests from portfolio managers. Draft and maintain role-related desktop procedures. Do a root cause analysis and resolve production issues proactively. To be successful in this role, we\'re seeking the following: Excellent understanding advanced concepts related to equity space, capital markets, asset management, equity & fixed income index strategies and indexing space. Knowledge of corporate actions, reconciliations, pricing in asset management business. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Expert level knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of PowerQuery/ VBA/ Python is preferred. Should be familiar with various data vendors and ways to extract data in an efficient manner. BlackRock Aladdin experience is preferred. Education & Experience Master\'s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Progress in CFA/ FRM/ relevant exams is preferred but not mandatory. 4+ years of total work experience in finance or a related field preferred. Effective communication skills - including the ability to produce good written work. Flexible - works co-operatively with others across the business. Actively listens and checks for understanding comfortable asking questions. Gathers appropriate information/data to make sense of complex situations. Demonstrates strong attention to detail and provides timely, accurate and helpful information. Tackle\'s problem solving with confidence and positivity - remains calm.
