The Chief Data Analytics office (CDAO) team are responsible for driving an uplift in the Consumer Data and Analytics capability across the Retail Bank. The team comprises of several functions and capabilities including NBC Design and Performance, Consumer Data Office, Delivery, Advanced Analytics and Modelling, Data Science, Planning and Operations, and Risk and Regulatory Programs to support the goals of Group Marketing. The RBS Customer Remediation team is responsible for remediating our retail customers in a fair, transparent, efficient, timely and consistent way as well as for delivering 1:1 customer communications that are required by law, regulation or industry standards across all product portfolios. We are interested in hearing from people who have: Risk Mindset -All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks. Have intermediate SQL with experience working on Teradata Basic experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl or VBA. Prior experience in working on data operations or supporting ETL jobs. Experience in data preparation by cleaning and transforming raw data prior to processing and analysis, such that the data can be readily and accurately analyzed. As an Analyst, you will be accountable for supporting and delivering technical pieces of work within RBS Remediation. More specifically your main duties and responsibilities will include: You will be accountable for the delivery of remediation payments and communications to support timely closure of remediation items. You will adhere to Standard Operating Processes and apply your technical knowledge (SQL) and eye for detail to identify and resolve potential issues during the delivery process. In addition, you will supporting the build and maintenance of Data and System Infrastructure required for Remediation operations. You will also be familiar with working in a fast paced environment, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to adapt and learn for any given business problem. You will actively contribute to the collaborative culture and thrive in a high performing team. You will leverage your own knowledge and skills to proactively offer suggestions and create the best outcome for our customers.
