Overview

Associate Infrastructure Engineer
As Infrastructure Engineer, you will be Identifying and promoting opportunities to achieve continuous improvement in the corporate network services environment. Manage operational projects for the corporate estate with global stakeholders. Manage and review existing infrastructure for operational improvement and implementation in close coordination with CISO and Architecture teams. Propose and manage design reviews of existing services and new implementations to continually innovate corporate estate as per industry standards.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be a part of the team which is working on continuous improvement in operational network estate and corporate network services.

What you will do

• Utilise your technical knowledge to drive the delivery of scalable & secure network resources
• Assist and provide end-to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors.
• Vendor coordination for Network /services and manage Operations escalations.
• Review and Propose design /solutions improvement corporate network services.
• Operational support to Network Infrastructure to ensure timely resolution/escalation with Support teams.

• Ability to review functional and technical requirements, raise potential issues and participate actively in network design discussions with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols.
• Assertive, good communication skills for vendor management, and review.
• Flair to implement/ Test innovative new solutions to improve current services.

Qualifications

Who you are

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent technical discipline related to the job description. Extensive experience with LAN and WAN networking with 2-3 Year experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols.
• Minimum 1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Routers, Switches (Juniper/HPE/Cisco), Access Control Servers, Dynamic Routing Protocols, implementing Multi-Factor Authentication, BGP, MPLS, TACACS+, ACS.
• Knowledge of information security systems such as NGFW, IPS, and SSL/IPSec VPN\xe2\x80\x99s along with an in-depth understanding of protocols such as (BGP, MPLS, and OSPF).
• Aruba/Cisco/Juniper switches / JunOS: hands-on experience with certifications (CCNP, JNCIP) or attended courses.
• Mist /Aruba Wireless: hands-on experience or attended courses.
