The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization\'s computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

This role in summary


Summary: The SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (SAP MII) developer would need to have a minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience. This role will manage design, development and implementation of MII systems across Whirlpool manufacturing facilities in Asia. Incumbent is expected to review, enhance and revise technical designs to meet MII project requirements. Recommend process improvements to achieve project goals. Provide technical mentorship to the project teams and deliver high quality customer support throughout the project. Incumbents will also be responsible to conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and improvements. Collaborate with functional owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of the market. Review program codes and correct MII program errors. Maintain and update existing program codes as needed. Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned projects & enhancements. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities will include


  • Develop SAP MII applications to populate real and historical data extracting information from data sources Kepware, SAP ECC, and shop floor systems (MII, Historian, etc.) for reporting and analysis.
  • Good working exposure of SAP & MII Integration using RFC and idocs
  • Develop apps to monitor the statistics and performance of applications and servers and to generate real time alerts and deploying applications.
  • Develop dashboards in SAP MII using HTML, JAVA Script and UI5.
  • Good exposure of SQL, write database queries and stored procedures in the database server
  • Participate in proof of concept, analysis and build prototypes, ensuring proposed solutions can meet business requirements.
  • Experience to develop/generate QR codes/Barcodes in MII application
  • Experience of ADS printing technology
  • Good exposure of OEE
  • Improve performance of the applications and servers through Performance tuning/sizing of servers, and changing the design and fine tuning the SQL queries.
  • Support various testing procedures (Unit testing, Integration testing, classroom testing, shop floor testing)
  • Implement the Processes that were influenced by the compliance requirements.
  • Generating the Training Documentation on the MII Key Processes.
  • Configuring SAP PCo agents and connectors to collect data from PLC for Automatic data collection and configuring PCo notifications.


Preferred skills and experiences



  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 4-6 years of industry experience.
  • SAP MII development experience
  • SAP MII UDC/ PCO (Plant connectivity) Framework
  • Solid Grasp of the fundamentals of operating SAP ERP. (RFC/ BAPI, ALE/ IDoc Settings), XML/ XPath/ WebServices
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and get the job done in a high visibility, high stress situation.
  • Good understanding of applications in Manufacturing Area (such as MES, SCADA, PLC, OPC, Historian)
  • Experience in OEE, Equipment Status Dashboard, Performance Cockpit Dashboard, and Event alerting
