:: Senior Analyst Accounting Control Process Management (APAC Time Zone)Overview: The Accounting Control Process Management department is integral to validating the data in the Aladdin Accounting Book of Record for client valuation reporting and performance calculations. We are looking for subject matter experts in accounting to join our team. The role will involve overseeing the timely management and clearance of quality control (QC) checks, resolving queries related to accounting processes, and contributing to continuous process improvement. This position requires handling complex tasks, managing relationships with operational teams, and fostering an innovative, efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities:Quality Control Management: Ensure QC checks on the Aladdin Accounting platform are effectively managed using Aladdin dashboards.Cross-Regional Handover: Facilitate smooth and efficient handover of activities between regions.Valuation Reporting: Produce periodic valuation reports (typically monthly) to agreed quality and within deadlines.Query Resolution: Oversee the timely resolution of escalated queries arising from Accounting Process Management activities.Business Controls Adherence: Ensure that business controls are followed consistently.Process and Workflow Improvement: Regularly review and enhance operational systems and workflows.Leverage new tools and technologies to automate sub-optimal processes.Issue Escalation: Escalate issues to the Accounting & Control manager that fall outside agreed service standards.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal/external clients and suppliers.Collaboration: Liaise with other operational areas and external parties to ensure smooth operations.Problem Solving: Develop effective solutions for escalated issues.Skills and Behaviours Required:Process Management Expertise: Independently handle processes, take responsibility for specific tasks, and challenge existing processes for continuous improvement.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong relationship management capabilities.Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving problems.Time Management: Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, able to manage and delegate tasks effectively.Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; desire to leverage technology for improvements.Industry Experience: 3-5 years of experience in portfolio accounting or the securities/fund management industry at a technical level.Preferred Qualifications:Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, serving as an escalation point for the teams Analysts.Operational Risk Management: Strong understanding of operational risks, with the ability to manage time effectively and handle prioritization.Innovation and Change: Open to feedback, actively challenges the status quo, and advocates for innovation within the team.Global Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and the ability to develop and manage relationships with global internal departments and external stakeholders.Skills:Back Office Operations,Investment Management,AladdinAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
