About the Role: The Impact and ESG vertical at FarMart works closely with cross functional teams to ensure that impact and sustainability are embedded in the core of the business. As part of this team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working on varied projects ranging from impact measurement, ESG, communications, farmer engagement, government relations, investor relations, strategic partnerships, sustainability, research and writing. This is a self-starter position requiring constant innovation and experimentation. It is ideal for a mid-level professional wanting to gain practical experience on how a growth stage startup works, while contributing your bit towards the lives of the stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in impact measurement and management activities. This includes contributing to the impact thesis, conducting user research, working with third party organizations for data collection, quarterly compilation and circulation of impact metrics, and publishing impact reports.
• Assist in ESG management of the company. This includes implementing organization wide policies and programs in compliance with our ESG Action Plan and other national/global ESG standards
• Contributing to conceptualisation and implementation of long term projects for achieving the organizations\xe2\x80\x99 impact and ESG KPIs
• Building and managing government collaborations and strategic partnerships in order to execute impact driven projects
• Contribute to investor relations, including data management and reporting
• Responsible for all impact related communications and positioning for the company

Must have skills:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or higher degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge and experience of impact measurement & management or communications.
• Experience in conducting quantitative/qualitative research and in writing data driven white papers, articles, blogs.
• General understanding of diverse ESG and Sustainability topics.
• Passion for creating a positive impact on the lives of stakeholders and the environment.

Good to have skills

• Experience of working in the agriculture and food industry.
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting guidelines and frameworks (e.g. CDP, TCFD, GRI, SASB, UNGC, UN SDGs).
• Experience in working with government stakeholders.
