"o Managing the entire function of goods receiving Dept, this includes receipt of materials, quantity & quality checking, planning of expected deliveries, Distribution of received materials to different departments, Stock maintenance, etc... o MIS reporting, Maintenance of stock in warehouse, interacting with suppliers & buyers and other officials of Metro regarding deliveries & dispatches and taking care of all logistics functions of the DC. o Handling the total supplier returns (Damage, Expiry etc...) o Looking after Inter Stock Transfers (IST) between Metro distribution centers o Managing all the functions in a well known in-house software system called GMS/SCS (Good Management System/Smart Complete System) o Moreover Managing the customer(Supplier) service function and maintaining the competitive service standards and developing high net worth relation ships with the clients o Responsible for planning and administration of business strategies to achieve the targets set for the department and Responsible for all the activities of the entire department o Initiate new processes to improve the results required"
