In This Role, You Will:

  • Track and monitor status of visas for all foreign nationals employed in the US and proactively preparing for the next phase of each visa lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to F-1, H1 Cap sponsorship, L1, and permanent residency (green card) visas.
  • Answer day to day employee inquiries related to immigration, travel & mobility in a timely manner.
  • Support in preparing documents and petitions for visas including but not limited to F-1, L1, and dependent visas (H4, L2 etc.).
  • Support Team manager in maintaining the immigration compliances- employee immigration files, including Public Access Files, in accordance with the DOL/USCIS regulations, side immigration processes (visa status changes, terminations, PW changes etc.) ensuring compliance and accurate records and documentation.
  • Will be responsible to perform ongoing maintenance and tracking/auditing of all visa and work permits in HRIS system (preferably Workday) to ensure lawful immigration status for all employees globally and ensure proper renewal/amendment notifications.
  • Will stay current on knowledge of laws, regulations, legislative changes, and procedures used in processing immigration cases and publish the same to internal stake holder.
  • Project manage the visa process and work with various stakeholders to compile accurate and comprehensive documentation to ensure each petition has the highest chance of success possible.
  • Work closely with 3rd party attorneys, Companys HRBPs, recruitment & managers on a regular basis to track and monitor progress of all applications, understand relevant action items, and keep parties informed of next steps and potential outcomes.
Here's What You Need:
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communications (Written & oral), proficiency with the English language and US grammar.
  • Knowledge of US & Canada immigration laws, with minimum 2-5 years experience in a high growth global company.
  • Knowledge of various documents & visa forms required to file employment-based visas
  • Familiarity with the USCIS and IRCC rules and regulations related to work authorization.
  • Ability to work independently and flourish in a geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. HRIS experience preferred.
  • Understanding of HR concepts
  • Familiar with SOP & documentation activities
