We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Fund/Client Accounting II in our CIBC Mellon Fund and Portfolio Services team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra - HYBRID

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Supervise staff responsible for the processing and support of complete, accurate, and timely valuation and financial statements for daily and monthly valued clients as well as the resolution of any problems that arise during the normal daily, weekly, or monthly valuation processes, and the communication of this information to all interested parties.
• Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and funds.
• Responsible for Internal and external (Investment Manager) reconciliations related to assigned funds.
• Perform reconciliation of account and ensures they are allocated appropriately. Escalates complex transactions to senior team members.
• Internal Reconciliation - identifying, investigate and resolving cash and unit breaks between custody and accounting platform.
• Identify, investigate Resolving Income exceptions.
• Co-ordinate with multiple internal teams like corporate actions, derivatives, bank loans, custody and etc. for resolving breaks/exceptions.
• Review and monitor monthly NAV.
• Would perform in-depth analysis of reconciliations, deciphering complex exceptions and processing client/review accounts.
• Reviews work performed by more junior levels.
• Responsible for the processing and support of complete, accurate, and timely valuation of financial statements for large and complex daily and monthly valued clients as well as the resolution of any problems that arise during the normal valuation processes, and the communication of this information to all interested parties.
• Drive Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions, allocating expenses and preparing reports.
• Under supervision, performs more routine Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in the areas of driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions.

To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
• 4+ years of total work experience required.
• Knowledge of TLM, GSP and IMMS is required.
