BIETC is currently looking for Associate Equipment & Tool Engineer - Asset Software & Controls Engineer to join Production Engineering team in Bangalore. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial (BCA) business organization.A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Production Engineering Teams to implement the Equipment & Tool Design solutions.:
The Equipment & Tool Engineer - Asset Software & Controls Engineer is responsible to for programming, integrating, and troubleshooting industrial robots and automation equipment from industry-leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). You will also work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Numerical Controls (NC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Drives from Siemens, FANUC, or Allen Bradley. Automated equipment used in the component manufacturing and production of Boeing Commercial airplanes. Also, to support other production equipment as needed to sustain airplane production. Typical projects involve gathering requirements from project stakeholders, which generally include airplane Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Metrology. Develop project scope and evaluate alternatives to make/buy. Develop specifications and/or designs using CAD system as required. Equipment & Tool Engineer - Asset Software & Controls Engineer is also responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment used in manufacturing processes. They will analyze equipment data, identify potential issues, and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability. They will provide real-time support for troubleshooting equipment-related problems and develop and maintain technical relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.Job Responsibilities:
