About the Job



IORA Trust, a leading climate and conservation-focused organization, is looking for an Associate to assist and support all activities of Business and Environment under Forestry & Biodiversity vertical at IORA .




Roles and Responsibilities:


• Identify and develop business opportunities and participate in other business related events.
• Statistical data analysis and preparation of reports to inform project design and activities.
• Secondary literature review and primary data collection on various aspects.
• Support implementation of various project activities, especially sustainable forest management and livelihood improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate organisation of workshops and capacity building trainings etc. as required.
• Work closely with different stakeholders for convergence.
• Contribute to project proposals, reports and presentations and other project collaterals as required.
• To contribute in nature finance related aspects.
• Any professional tasks assigned by the manager.


Qualifications


• Master's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Rural Development, Livelihoods, Agriculture or other related fields with at least 2-3 years of experience preferably in business and biodiversity.
• Excellent writing and presentation kills
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
• Proficiency in working on MS-Excel, word and Power point.
• Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in the field too.
