: for Associate Engineer - Technical Publications :Vertiv Global Engineering Centre, Pune is looking for a Asso. Engineer - Technical Publication.He/she will be responsible to research, write and edit customer-facing documentation such as user manuals, online help systems and quick installation guides (but not limited to this) for Vertiv\'s Multiple product lines (AC Power, Dc Power, Thermal, Energy Labs, Global Racks etc.).He/she should understand, explain, and write complex technical information in a conversational tone of voice.He/she needs to work with and facilitate positive relationships with Global Business Units (GBUs), all Lines of Business (LOB), other departments and OEM customers with specific needs.He/she should work with minimal supervision and sometimes limited product specifications and support and manage both local and remote documentation projects. Being part of Global Engineering function, will be responsible to execute the assigned job and report as per the defined communication plan. Job Specifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in technical field, with Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Adobe Acrobat Pro X/ Adobe Acrobat DC

• Minimum 1-2 Years\' of relevant experience in technical writing or authoring.

• Experience with or /certification of single source publishing tools like MadCap Flare is preferred. (Experience/ certification with Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp tools could be substituted for Madcap Flare)

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English language.

• Attention to detail while managing several complex deliverables.

• Good analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• A proactive, with an attitude to learn tech pub process and tools.

• Basic knowledge of researching on the technical source data such as assembly and work instructions, fitting arrangement schematics, engineering drawings, 3D models, service bulletins (SBs).

• Familiar with functionality, operation and maintainability of various mechanical/electrical systems and components.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Writing Style Guide, Experience with CSS, XML & XHTML & anyone Degree/Certification in Professional Writing, Digital Writing/Communications, Journalism, English with Writing Emphasis will be added advantage
