Development & designing of embedded software for Harman Automotive Products
Understand and elaborate SW requirements.
Design, develop and maintain (write code) SW modules, using programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python etc.
provide support and bug fixes for legacy and newly developed code.
Perform Unit test, functional test, automation of test etc.
Conform to coding standards and guidelines as defined by Harman and industry standards.
Review all development artefacts (like requirements, design documents, code, test cases, test code etc) and get their artefacts peer reviewed.
Keep self learning and updated with latest technology and industry trends.
Interact and work with peers within team, across other teams and departments for Harman and Program/Product success.
Adhere to Harman's policies and code of conduct. Be a Harman ambassador.
What You Need:
Eager to learn and improve own skill.
Very good problem-solving skills.
Excellent coding skills in one or more programming languages like C/C++/Java/Python.
Excellent grasp of Data Structures and OOPS concepts, operating systems
Hands on experience in using Linux OS, Unix shells (like Bash)
Very good verbal and written communications skills in English.
Knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office tools or equivalent.
Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Detail-oriented.
What is a plus:
Prior knowledge of software development for Automotive Products is a plus
Knowledge of Open Embedded, Bitbake and package management.
Ability to read and understand Hardware schematics analysis related to connectivity circuits
Experience working with Agile entities (Epics/Stories/Tasks) for planning and execution
