[ n Your Job Molex RFBU/ESBU product design team is seeking an Associate, Design Engineer, RF/Microwave to support sustaining work packets, design modifications and development activities down the line as you gain experience. As a designer, we expect you to take full accountability of the assigned tasks and provide best quality deliverables with highest sense of urgency and attention to detail by meeting customer timelines. Our Team You will be part of RFBU/ESBU Engineering group at GTC reporting to RF Engineering Manager, India. You will be responsible to handle design activities under the guidance of your manager and senior peers. You will work with local cross functional teams within GTC for any engineering support our group would need based on business needs. What You Will Do Work closely with your manager to review statement of work and come up with ECDu2019s to meet customer timelines. Create parametric models and manufacturing drawings for the finalized concept design using best practices. Coordinate with cross functional teams to avail support on CAE, Mold Flow, Thermal simulations etc. based on design needs. Participate in design review meetings to review designs with your senior peers to tweak the design further as needed. Perform DFMEA, Tolerance Analysis and hand calculations to prove the design theoretically. Create engineering specifications (Product spec, plating spec, heat treatment spec, assembly spec etc.) based on design requirements. Release designs for sample build / Pre-Production / Production using release process in Teamcenter. Candidate should be able to support in US time zone (Typically between 11 am to 9.30 pm local time) to fulfill business expectations. In the long run, take full ownership of the designs and work on continuous improvement plans to reduce cost by enhancing performance to place our products in a competitive position in the marketplace. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Up to 3 years of experience in new product development process. BE in Mechanical stream is very much preferred. (Only under graduates) Handson experience and certification in NX/UG and Teamcenter platforms to create complex designs under short fuse situations. Sound knowledge in BOM process and understanding relative design change impacts at the various top assembly levels in the system. Profound knowledge in GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Engineering Hand Calculations and DFM processes is must. Good understanding of connector manufacturing, plating, assembly, and packaging processes to come up with cost effective designs. Team Player, Quick learner, good communication & interpersonal skills. What Will Put You Ahead Candidates from connector domain with above experience.
