• Conducts structural (static/dynamic) tests for Aircraft seat/cabin components
• Perform standard engineering assignments that are required to meet material strength and product deformation allowables
• Analyze structural components for stresses by hand calculations using knowledge of Strength of Materials
• Select engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations
• Reviews and approves design changes from certification perspective for weight sensitive and optimized design solutions
• Creates and compiles FAA certification documentation for submittal to OEMs, Airline customers and Regulatory agencies
• Material selection and material specifications correlation
• Authors, checks and directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
• Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (Mechanical/Aerospace) from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university with 1 to 4 years of experience in day-to-day dynamic Analysis requirements of Aircraft seating systems of the organization.

• For non-US universities, candidates must be from well-respected Engineering Schools and either get ABET accredited in the US with 1 to 4 years of experience in day-to-day dynamic Analysis requirements of Aircraft seating systems of the organization.
