Associate Director/DirectorResponsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the engineering team.Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers.Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.Set clear goals, define responsibilities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support the career development of team members.Stakeholder Management:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to align engineering efforts with business objectives.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.Technical Direction and Innovation:Drive the technical vision and strategy for our gaming platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide decision-making and foster innovation.Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.Champion a culture of continuous improvement and encourage the exploration of new ideas.Team Up-Skilling and Productivity Improvement:Identify skill gaps within the engineering team and develop comprehensive training and up-skilling programs to enhance technical capabilities.Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship, encouraging the growth and development of individual team members.Implement effective processes and tools to streamline workflows and optimize team productivity.Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Requirements:Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.Solid understanding of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices.Expertise in up-skilling and mentoring team members to drive individual and team growth.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
