As an Associate Director in Systems Medicine, you will have the opportunity to translate in vitro and in vivo data for clinical study decisions using available platform disease models. You will also develop novel disease QSP/QST models and work closely with Safety Scientists or Clinical Pharmacologists to translate safety findings from nonclinical species to humans.Accountabilities:
As an integral part of our team, you will create, expand, or refine mathematical models to address drug discovery and development questions. You will develop and apply mathematical models to translate safety findings from nonclinical species to humans. Your role will also involve reviewing, formatting, and analyzing available data for modeling purposes, engaging with project teams, and presenting modeling work. Staying up-to-date with emerging literature and techniques in modeling and simulation sciences is a key part of this role. You will also support Safety Scientists and Clinical Pharmacologists with Health Authority queries and prepare submission documentation related to PKPD analyses.Essential Skills/Experience:
- Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, pharmacometrics, or a related field.
- Overall 10 years of experience and More than 2 years experience in data formatting, data analysis post-degree, and report writing.
- Knowledge in physiology, pathology, and/or pharmacology.
- Capability of parameter estimation and simulation with various what-if scenarios.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Self-directed, independent, and highly-motivated researcher who excels in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
