Date Posted: 2024-07-26Country: IndiaLocation: No.14/1 & 15/1, Maruthi Industrial Estate, Phase 2, Hoody Village, Whitefield Road, KR Puram Hobli,Bengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaPosition Role Type: UnspecifiedOverview:Responsible for all aspects of Operations management of one of the verticals in Lighting BU and assure results on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery and CostJob Title:Associate Director - OperationsJob responsibilities:Strategy & Financial Management:Formulate Goal Alignment in-line with Global OPS & BU strategy & drives executionBuild core capabilities to make BLR site CoE for lighting businessDrive business growth in alignment with BU strategy,Responsible for overall Profit Assurance - EBIT, Cashflow & CPH etcCreate Annual Operating plan / budget and Drives effective capital decision-makingLead cost reduction activities in LightingProject Transition & NPI Management:Support product transitions from Germany and US sitesInteract with customers on program capability and capacity readinessCoordinate with Program Management & Engineering to provide direction during program start-ups, transitions to production.Operations Management:Responsible to ensure Customer On-Time Delivery in alignment with the AOP commitment.Responsible to ensure the development of plans to achieve Customer Quality performance metricsResponsible for the development and execution of the inventory management strategyCapacity analysis to identify bottlenecks, derive solutions, and develop budgets to support optimal production ratesAccountable for effective SIOP and MPS to address demand, lead time, capacity constraints and materials availability.Quality Management:Actively drives culture of QMS compliance and adherence to the Quality Cardinal RulesDrive prevention, resolution, and root cause / corrective action of Customer Escapes, including a read-across and communications regarding the impact on the CustomerSupport for implementation of ZDP and SRR reductionContinuous Improvement:

  • Drive culture of continuous improvement of processes, systems and ways of working with a focus on enhancing operational capabilities
  • Ensure appropriate focus is placed on embedding and encouraging the use of CORE at all levels in the organization
  • Drive implementation of Industry 4.0 and Technology Roadmap
