Job Description


Hiring an Associate Director Ontologist to deliver comprehensive taxonomy and ontology models to optimize data discovery. An incumbent with 10+ years of experience who collaborates with business partners and engineering teams to deliver knowledge-based solutions to enable data discoverability for users.Location - Mumbai/Pune/HyderabadYour future employer - India\'s foremost provider of ratings, data, research, analytics and solutions.   • 1) Design and manage taxonomies, thesauri, and/or ontologies
2) Develop and deliver taxonomy and content governance plans * 3) Review existing taxonomies and metadata schemas
  • 4) Lead the development of Enterprise Knowledge taxonomy consulting deliverables
  • 5) Developing logical, semantically rich, and extensible data models for the data catalog
Requirements-
  • 1) Degree in computer science, Library Science, Information Systems, Linguistics or equivalent professional experience
2) 9+ years of relevant work experience working in ontology and/or taxonomy roles * 3) Proficiency in SQL, SPARQL
  • 4) Experience building ontologies in the finance domain and semantic search spaces
