The Role: Associate Director-L3 Automation Engineer
The Team: The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals, who build, support and protect the applications that operate our network. The technology landscape includes high-performance, high-volume applications as well as compute intensive applications, leveraging contemporary microservices, cloud-based architectures
The Impact: Together, we build, support, protect and manage high-performance, resilient platforms that process more than 100 million messages a day. Our services are vital to automated trade processing around the globe, managing peak volumes and working with our customers and regulators to ensure the efficient settlement of trades and effective operation of global capital markets
What\'s in it for you:
As a Systems Engineer with a specialization in automation, you will become an integral part of our global team of highly skilled engineers within the IT End User Computing (EUC) department at Osttra. Your primary mission will be to drive the automation of critical processes and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity within EUC.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.
Responsibilities:
Lead the automation initiatives for various IT processes, including but not limited to; joiner, leaver and mover processes, asset management, access management, request management and security enforcement.
Assume ownership of automation solutions, ensuring they are well-managed, continuously improved, and aligned with best practices.
Continuously assess current and future automation solutions for Osttra.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and design effective solutions.
Develop automation scripts, workflows, and tools using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible or other automation frameworks.
Leverage automation within Jira, Google Workspace (Appsheets, Apps Script), Github actions, SailPoint IAM, Jenkins, Bamboo or other products used by Osttra.
Leverage AI-technologies to streamline the work in the team and the organization.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge bases.
Spread the knowledge around automation in the team and ensure scripts are well-documented and controlled i.e. by using versioning tools.
As this is a global role, some international travel may be necessary for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

7+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer role with a primary focus on automation.
Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python or similar.
Extensive experience in designing and implementing automation solutions.
Strong expertise and experience of API\'s, i.e. Atlassian, Google and Microsoft API\'s.
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Jira, Google Workspace and other relevant IT platforms.
Familiarity with ITIL-based ITSM tools, with experience in Jira Service Management being beneficial.
Solid understanding of IT security, network protocols, infrastructure, and related technologies.
Proficiency in Windows 10/11, standard desktop applications, and hardware.
Experience in leading and managing automation projects.
Certifications within the field of process automations.
