Overview:

Accountability for the solution architecture and design governance for Inventory Optimization and Distribution Requirements Planning for diverse and largescale supply chain networks. This role is the IT Solution Design Lead for Inventory Optimization and Distr. Requirements Planning Solution as it relates to the global processes defined by the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). Ability to provide IT knowledge to enable common global designs, data, reporting and analytics and support the delivery and governance of PGT solution capabilities. This role will adopt and adhere to PepsiCo's SAFe agile principles.
In depth understanding of Inventory optimization (IO) and unconstrained network demand signal (DRP) to evaluate business problem statement, analyze, articulate and lead in end to end solution build and governance of core inventory optimization and distribution requirements signal processes -

• Maintain, Prepare and Load Data for DRP and IO
• Generate unconstrained network demand signal
• Develop Inventory Optimization Plan
• Complete Ad Hoc/Scenario Analysis and Simulations
• Measure & Monitor Inventory Plan
• Publish Safety Stock Targets and Cycle Stock
• Review, Evaluate and Confirm Safety Stock Targets



Responsibilities:
• Act as the Inventory Optimization (IO) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) IT Lead for the solutions being delivered within the end to end process
• Conduct business and IT workshops to understand end to end business process requirements for IO and DRP, articulate and propose the best possible solution
• Identify gaps, design & develop the solutions as required to enhance PGT solution capabilities across all in-scope PepsiCo markets and sectors
• Drive completion of key project activities in collaboration with the Demand planning, inventory optimization (IO), Response and PP/DS IT Solution Architects and business partners
• Act as advocate of change
• Understand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions with other process teams such as make to deploy and order to cash
• Primary point of contact across the PBNA organization for overall status of the IT Supply Planning DRP/MPS work stream - i.e. the "go to" person
• Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads on issue resolution and process design recommendations
• Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process "choice point" to Global Process Owner
• Willing to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomes

Qualifications:

Mandatory Tech Skills:• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
• 10-12 years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP APO and ERP with a focus on Supply Planning IO and DRP (Heuristics)
• 2+ years of IBP Supply and SAP S4 experience preferred
• IT Expertise in network level supply planning and inventory optimization
• Experience in Supply Planning solution evaluations
• Understanding of master data needed for DRP and IO
• Familiarity or exposure to business and technical processes of upstream demand planning and inventory management and downstream production scheduling and replenishment planning processes

• Experience with planning and forecasting for large projects and programs
• 5-10 years of project/program experience
• Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Prior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantage.
• Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn
• IT leadership experience with supply planning projects
• Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project
• Solves highly complex problems within their work team
• Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
• Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
• Consulting background a plus
• Experience with TCP, DRP, MPS as roles within the business
• Experience in cross functional roles preferred



Mandatory Non Tech Skills:• Experience working in large scale Enterprise Programs and complex cross matrix environment
• Prior experience working with global SAP solutions across Sectors, managing a global team to ensure minimizing any local change impacts
• Experience as a Lead, managing SAP IBP/APO
• Functional knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the necessary in-scope data domain (i.e., Material, Supplier, Customer, and Finance)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to persuade and influence others at all organization levels and the ability to foster lasting partnerships
• Strong Project Management experience
• Develop and enhance SAP PGT Workflow solutions maximizing shared code and common design patterns across platforms
• Provide Solution Governance to projects - Provide input and recommendations to solution design
• Perform design and code reviews
• Organize and lead Proof of Concepts to demonstrate new and upcoming technologies
• Identify and develop global, reusable components and services
