Diverse minds that work cross- functionally and broadly together.About the roleThe Senior Enteprise Architect Data, Analytics and AI will ensure that common architecture decisions support both business and IT strategy in the domain of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and that architectures delivered, both logical and physical, are compliant with relevant AZ architecture standards, blueprints and roadmaps. This includes defining, leveraging and extending standard AstraZeneca reference architectures and design patterns.This includes:\xc2\xb7 Supporting the definition of analytics, data science, digital, and operational business use cases\xc2\xb7 Supporting the definition of common ingestion, curation, data design, and consumption patterns;\xc2\xb7 Support the definition of Information architecture, models, ontologies, taxonomies standards and reusable designsThe role will assess and review the work of Solution architecture roles and create a balance between the immediate and the strategic. A Senior Enterprise Architect will understand implications of architecture requirements to As-Is architectures and define/update To-Be architectures applying AZ architecture guiding principles. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, therole is focused on Current Project Portfolios typically over the 0-18 month horizon as well as strategic roadmpas over the18-36 month horizon.Associate Director - Data, Analytics & AIThe role will be accountable to provide strategic and solution design support in below focused domains of architecture.\xc3\x98 Data\xc3\x98 Analytics\xc3\x98 AI/ML\xc3\x98 Cloud\xc2\xb7 Define Architecture Standards, Reference Architectures, Design patterns and Roadmaps for the allocated portfolio\xc2\xb7 Accountable for the direction, performance and ongoing health of the current solution architectures within one or more given portfolios.\xc2\xb7 Contributes to leaders of the overall Enterprise Data Strategy in partnership the AstraZeneca business functions, solution developments and functional project\xc2\xb7 Define and manage the Architecture Principles for the given portfolio(s) in architecture disciplines of Data, Analytics & AI.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for architecture and technology evangelization, architecture roadmap, and alignment\xc2\xb7 Responsible for developing and performing architecture, best practice, and technology education\xc2\xb7 Responsible for Architectural Governance across all D&A disciplines within the portfolio\xc2\xb7 Accountable for the architecture and design of comprehensive set of solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned to AstraZenecas Enterprise Architecture strategies, providing subject matter expertise to ensure business opportunities are identified and realised in line with a standard and cost effective architecture.\xc2\xb7 The role will guide and support other architects (including third party suppliers) in the development and documentation of architectures for complex and business critical projects.\xc2\xb7 The role will be accountable for driving solution evaluation and selection decisions, buy vs. build decisions, and early- phase project estimates which contribute to the business case.\xc2\xb7 Lead the effort to ensure that common architecture decisions support the business and IT strategy, and that thearchitectures delivered are compliant with relevant AZ architecture standards, blueprints and roadmaps.\xc2\xb7 Participate in Architecture Assessments & Reviews either as Lead Reviewing Architect or as a Subject Matter Expert in the review team.\xc2\xb7 Be accountable for the architecture and design of comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned to AstraZenecas Enterprise Architecture,\xc2\xb7 Provide subject matter expertise to ensure business opportunities are identified and realised in line with a standard and cost effective solution architecture.\xc2\xb7 Guide and support other architects (including third party suppliers) in the development and documentation of IS/IT architectures for complex and business critical projects.\xc2\xb7 Be accountable for driving solution evaluation and selection decisions, buy vs. build decisions, early-phase project estimates, and proof of concepts which contribute to the business case. \xc2\xb7 Create estimates for solution delivery including expertise to validate third party estimates and hence ensure value for money\xc2\xb7 Document best practices, drive reuse of existing solutions and in cooperation with other Architects promote new solutions for reuse.Education, Qualifications, and ExperienceEssentialRelevant technical degree or equivalent\xc2\xb7 Experience demonstrating proficiency in technical domain of data, analytics and AI.\xc2\xb7 Experience defining strategies, roadmaps, reference architecutres, architecture principles, design patterns, transition architectures\xc2\xb7 Experience implementing and maintaining business solution architectures under any formal framework for their domain of architecture.\xc2\xb7 Proven consultancy experience designing end to end solutions that operate across all domains of IT.\xc2\xb7 Experience developing and leading innovative solutions\xc2\xb7 Proven experience of leading change and challenging approaches/ideas.\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to influence across business and IT.\xc2\xb7 Experience developing and managing relationships with third party suppliers\xc2\xb7 Experience with policies, procedures and guidelines within a quality, compliant, and secure environment\xc2\xb7 Experience with large scale solution Justification phase work -
