You will have 10-13 years\' experience of Cloud Engineering to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of Financial Services clients . This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally. Responsibilities: Design and Architect Solutions: Lead the design and architecture of GCP-based solutions, including infrastructure, networking, security, and data management, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness requirements. Cloud Migration and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud migration strategies, integrating on-premises systems and applications with GCP services. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Perform security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions. Infrastructure Automation: Drive the automation of infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and other DevOps practices. Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resources to maximize cost efficiency while maintaining performance and reliability. Performance and Monitoring: Set up performance monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system performance and availability. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, guiding them on GCP best practices, architecture patterns, and methodologies. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and developers to understand requirements, articulate architectural decisions, and ensure successful project delivery. Stay Updated on GCP Trends: Keep abreast of the latest GCP technologies, services, and trends, recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance our cloud solutions. What We\'re Looking For: 12+ years of experience in designing & implementing a complex solution in GCP. Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred. Proven experience as a GCP Architect, leading the design and implementation of complex cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Very well versed with setting up the landing zone in GCP. Strong expertise in GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc. Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls on GCP. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in a cloud environment. Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging tools for performance optimization and troubleshooting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant GCP certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable. Experience in other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
