Role/Responsibilities Moody\'s Analytics provides financial intelligence and analytical tools to help business leaders make better, faster decisions. Moody\'s Analytics AXIS actuarial system is widely used by life insurers, reinsurers, and consulting firms worldwide for pricing, reserving, asset and liability management (ALM, financial modeling, capital calculations, and hedging. The AXIS actuarial system provides the flexibility to deploy large-scale computing power through an advanced cloud-based delivery platform or installed software. The Actuarial Client Support specialist deals directly with our clients daily to provide actuarial support, training, and advice on best practices for implementing models in AXIS. They will also work on documentation for clients and research projects that provide exposure to state-of-the-art actuarial science and its application to real problems. Our India-based Actuarial Client support specialists will work closely with colleagues in our other locations to provide support to AXIS users in India, elsewhere in Asia-Pacific, and Europe. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Help desk assignments - available during working hours to promptly reply to client inquiries Investigate, analyze, and answer client questions/problems as required. Document all contact with clients, problems, and resolutions. Creation of additional explanatory material where needed to answer client inquiry. Liaise with developers and clients on required enhancements, including preparing business specification documents, designing and executing testing of features in line with the release schedule. Training clients on specific modules or topics. Must be able to travel for training purposes. Qualifications A degree in actuarial science or equivalent. Fellowship from the SOA, IFoA or IAI preferred. Will consider Associates with equivalent work experience. At least 4 years of experience in the life insurance industry (preferably in a client support or similar capacity. Experience with the AXIS actuarial system is a strong asset. Experience in life, annuity, or health in areas such as pricing, valuation, corporate modeling, risk management, ALM, stochastic modeling work, hedging. Exemplary interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical, technical and research skills. Well-organized, detail oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities to meet targets. Excellent record keeping ability. Ability to work out of our Bangalore, Gurgaon or Noida offices.
