The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing AR processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and driving efficiency and effectiveness within the team.Key Responsibilities: * Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Accounts Receivable Operations:
  • Oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and collection.
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve any billing or payment issues.
  • Manage and improve DSO within given range
  • International Accounts Receivable:
  • Oversee AR operations for international subsidiaries and ensure compliance with local regulations and tax laws.
  • Coordinate with international teams to standardize processes and implement best practices.
  • Manage currency conversions, foreign exchange transactions, and cross-border collections.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage AR-related risks, including credit risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance related to cross border transactions related to With-holding, TRC etc.
  • Conduct regular audits and internal controls assessments.
  • Systems and Technology:
  • Leverage technology to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of AR software and systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within the AR function.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on AR performance, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improving cash flow.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience with international accounts receivable operations and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in AR software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of global financial regulations and compliance requirements.
